エオルゼアの水辺から、世界中の釣り人をつなぐフィッシャー。
Fruity Snacksさんは、FFXIVの「釣り」を長年追い続け、その楽しさと知識を世界へ発信している海外プレイヤーです。
約200ページにも及ぶ無料の釣りガイド「A Fisher’s Guide to Eorzea」を制作し、釣りの仕組みやスキル、ヌシ釣りなどを詳しく紹介。動画や配信を通して、初心者から熟練の漁師まで多くのプレイヤーを支えています。
そして、その活動は攻略情報だけにとどまりません。
仲間たちとともに、ゲーム内の観賞魚を集めた「Eorzean Aquarium」を設立。水族館はやがて、魚を見るだけの場所ではなく、釣り人が集まり、学び、交流するコミュニティの拠点へと成長しました。
さらに、釣りをテーマにした大型コミュニティイベント「FishFest」を開催し、その輪は北米からヨーロッパ、オセアニアへ。

Connecting fishers around the world from the waters of Eorzea.
Fruity Snacks is a longtime FFXIV fisher who has dedicated years to exploring the world of fishing and sharing its knowledge and joy with players around the globe.
They created “A Fisher’s Guide to Eorzea,” a free fishing guide spanning around 200 pages, covering everything from fishing mechanics and skills to Big Fishing. Through guides, videos, and streams, Fruity has helped fishers of all experience levels—from newcomers casting their first line to seasoned veterans.
But Fruity’s contributions go far beyond guides and fishing knowledge.
Together with fellow players, Fruity founded the “Eorzean Aquarium,” a player-created aquarium showcasing FFXIV’s displayable fish. Over time, it grew into more than a place to admire aquatic life—it became a community hub where fishers could gather, learn, and connect.
Fruity also helped bring the large-scale fishing community event “FishFest” to life, expanding the celebration from North America to Europe and Oceania.

To share.
And, through it all, to connect people.
Through something as simple as fishing in Eorzea, Fruity Snacks continues to nurture a community that reaches across countries, regions, and Data Centers.
